Hole 1:
Fairway wood or long iron from the tee will leave a short iron into the generous sized green.

Hole 2:
Most players will require a mid to long iron to reach this green, but beware of the out of bounds on the right and the bunker on the left if the flag is on the left.

Hole 3:
Three really good shots required here if you are to reach the green in three. Beware of the bunkers on the left of the fairway and the pot bunkers on the right.

Hole 4:
Your drive should be hit up the right side of the fairway away from the out of bounds on the left. When hitting your second shot beware of the fairway bunkers on the right and left as you approach the green.

Hole 5:
If you're brave you can take on the bunkers on the right with your driver otherwise a good fairway wood will leave you a short to mid iron second shot to a green guarded by 3 bunkers, but beware not to go too long for it's out of bounds behind the green.

Hole 6:
A good solid drive is needed here to reach the corner on this tough par 4 hole. This will leave a second shot into the green which is surrounded by 3 bunkers and out of bounds at the back.

Hole 7:
Good birdie chance here, whether you lay up this side of the bunker and pitch onto the green or have a go at the green in one! Beware of the tight out of bounds all the way down the left.

Hole 8:
Fairway wood from the tee will leave you a short iron into a green well guarded by bunkers. Your second can be deceptive as the green is long and narrow.

Hole 9:
Very tough par 4 and only the brave will get this one on in two! Out of bounds all the way down the right hand side and a very narrow entrance into the green, good luck!!

Hole 10:
Average length par 3, but be careful if you miss the green as getting up and down is not easy!
Hole 11:
Good solid drive needed to leave a short to mid iron to this generous green, but be careful the second shot is further than it may look and the pond can come into play with anything to the right!
Hole 12:
Straight forward tee shot to leave a short iron into the green. Any shots that lean left or right will probably end up in one of the bunkers or leave a tough putt.

Hole 13:
From the yellows a short par 3 over the pond, but the right club is very important as the green is very shallow.

Hole 14:
If you can carry the ball 250 yards you may want to have a go at the green, if not hit either a long iron or fairway wood short of the pond, which will leave a short iron into a good sized green.

Hole 15:
Slight dog left, so best to hit to the corner from the tee which will take the rough and the trees out of play, but not too far right as you will end up in some heavy rough! Then a mid iron onto the two tier tricky green.

Hole 16:
Very tough dog leg left par 4. A good solid drive needed avoiding the bunker on the left, to leave a mid to long iron into a narrow and heavily guarded green.
Hole 17:
Good birdie chance here from the tee if you can avoid the cross bunkers and the bunkers on the right, you can have a go with a fairway wood into the green.

Hole 18:
Dog leg right. Great finishing hole. Are you brave enough to take on the corner? If not hit a fairway wood far enough so that you can see the green with your second shot. Be careful as bunkers are on both sides of your approach to the green.

Golf Course Etiquette
In consideration for other players it is the duty of the player to observe at all times the points of etiquette as outlined in the Rules of Golf and in particular:
Each player must be equipped with a bag of clubs, sharing a bag or trolley is not allowed
The maximum number of players allowed in anyone match is four.
Lost Balls - players while searching for a ball must allow and signal other matches coming up to pass them. After giving them the signal they must not continue their play until those players have passed and are out of range.
If a ball is not found within 5 minutes it is deemed to be lost.
Faster Play - priority is always with the team playing faster, whether in 2, 3, or 4. One balls have no standing on the course. Any match losing a clear hole for any reason must invite the following match through at the first opportunity.
Re-try or Practice Putting - when the result of a hole has been determined, players must immediately leave the putting green and not re-try their putts or practice putting.
Trolleys & Buggies - must be kept off all tees, be at least 30ft from greens and bunkers, and must keep to paths and areas indicated. Always park them to the rear of the green on the best direction path to the next hole. Never leave the trolleys in front of the green, where a player will have to go back and get it.
Cutting In - on no account cut in unless the proceeding hole is clear. Players cutting in must always give way to players playing a full round.
All divots and pitch marks must be replaced and repaired. Every player must be equipped with a pitch mark repairer.
Bunkers - must be smoothed out after use with the rakes provided
Boundary Fences - must not be crossed to retrieve balls.
Fore - a sharp, loud shout should always be indicated after a dangerous, wayward shot
Club Competitions - all competitors shall have the right to pass anyone not so competing
Bad Behavior - loud, rude, discourteous behavior will not be tolerated.
Litter - No litter should be left on the course. Please use the litter baskets provided
DRESS CODE
All persons must dress in accordance with the following Dress Code:
Collared Shirts should be worn at all times
Smart trousers and tailored shorts must be worn. Jeans, track suits, ¾ length shorts and beach shorts will not be allowed
Golf Shoes should be worn at all times. Trainers are not permitted.
BAD BEHAVIOUR
Anyone (whether Member or visitor), who does not abide by these Rules and Etiquette, may be asked to leave by any member of staff and any fees paid will not be refunded.
All local rules and bylaws, for the time being in force, must be adhered to (these can be found on the back of the playing card).
